Algumas das principais bandas e músicos do mundo uniram-se para o lançamento de um projeto beneficiente. Nomes como Foo Fighters, Adele e Eminem vão compor a track list de um disco para arrecadação de fundos para as vítimas da tragédia no Japão. A informação é do periódico britânico NME.
O álbum, intitulado Songs for Japan, é fruto da união de grandes gravadoras, como Sony, EMI, Universal e Warner, que juntaram forças para lançar um álbum com 38 músicas. Segundo o periódico, todo o lucro obtido será revertido para a Cruz Vermelha japonesa.
O álbum já está disponível para download no iTunes, e a versão em CD sai no dia 4 de abril. Enquanto isso, artistas Beady Eye, Primal Scream, Graham Coxon e Paul Weller já estão confirmados em um show beneficente em Londres, no mês que vem.
