Bob Dylan comemorou seu aniversário de 30 anos de carreira em 1992 com um show tributo no Madison Square Garden, em Nova Iorque. A apresentação “The 30th Anniversary Concert Celebration” que foi, na época, divulgada em VHS terá seu relançamento em DVD e Blu-ray no dia 4 de março.
Além disso, as gravadoras Columbia Records e Legacy Recordings vão relançar o CD do show com áudios remasterizados e faixas bônus das passagens de som de Sinéad O’Connor e Eric Clapton. No DVD, o material bônus apresenta performances de John Mellencamp, Nancy Griffith com Carolyn Hester, Booker T. & The M.G.’s e um documentário de 40 minutos com entrevistas inéditas e imagens de backstage.
O show “The 30th Anniversary Concert Celebration” contou com covers de Bob Dylan feitos por Neil Young, Lou Reed, Eric Clapton, Johnny Cash e June Carter Cash, Eddie Vedder, Stevie Wonder e George Harrison – foi a última grande performance ao vivo do beatle.
