Moonrise Kingdom chega clássico em sua trilha sonora. Wes Anderson, que já teve Beatles*, Kinks, David Bowie, Sigur Rós e Rolling Stones em seus filmes, agora aposta em nomes como Filarmônica de Nova York, Leonard Berstein, Hank Williams e Françoise Hardy para a soundtrack. A premiere do longa rola em Cannes e abre o festival no dia 16 de maio.
